Maddy's sidewalk chalk art....her flaming flying heart's are showing up anywhere and everywhere. Took her to see Santa Claus 3. She loved it!
Kennedy's high school homecoming was this weekend. I took this photo at the Macy's while Kennedy was getting her make-up done by MAC. She is looking into a hand held mirror. I got into a tiff with the cosmetics manager for taking photos...apparently Macy's has a no photo policy. When I stated that they were for my daughters scrapbook, and she said..."I don't really care what it 's for" apparently Scrapbooking does not rank high on Macys list of whats important, now the funny part is several other mom's were there taking photos and the manager never said a word to them(hmmm, perhaps the small point and shoot cameras are a little less in your face than my big honkin Rebel)...So the rebel in me just kept on taking pictures.
I love this photo of the lipsticks lined up...
I must say i think Kennedy and her group of friends are amazing...there is a huge group of them who hang out together. This year, like last year they decided to forgo a resurant and instead meet at their friend Camerons house have dinner and take a zillion pictures...these guys are HAMS! so I had way tooo much fun taking pictures. The part that makes my heart sing, is the fact that my 16 year old wants me there to take pictures and hang out....when i was her age, there was NO way i would have asked my mother to come along....no possible way!
Beautiful daughter and beautiful shots! I cant believe they were so rude at Macy's.. bad biz I say... especially since you werent taking pictures of the employees or customers. Anywho... I love the lipstick pic... When I was young my grandmother worked at Cheseborough Ponds making Qtips... They had a family night and we were allowed in to watch all the magic. My FAV was the ladies making the lipstick... sooo cool! ;)
